AHEAD of 2015 elections, campaign posters of President Goodluck Jonathan has flooded the major streets of Umuahia, Abia State capital.
The campaign posters, captioned “no going back in 2015”, are seen posted in some major streets of the capital city.
It was sponsored by a certain South East Youth group. But in a swift reaction, Ohanaeze Youths Council dismissed the posters and those who sponsored them, urging them to first allow President Jonathan to declare his interest to run before campaigning for him.
The National Organizing Secretary of the council, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said the group should wait for the President to declare his interest before talking of campaigning for him.
According to Isiguzoro “what we should be talking about now is for the President to show us what he has done for Igbo youths who voted for him in 2011.”
