Watching Adeyemi Adebayo Abiodun aka Yemi Praize perform
on stage, one would be forgiven to think that he is in the throes of intoxication. With virtually every part of his body moving in different directions, eyes closed like someone in pain and singing with so much passion in his voice, he is indeed a delight to watch.
In a chat with Sunday Scoop, the budding Gospel singer revealed his stimulant. He said, “Whenever I am praising God, it is like I’m no longer in control of myself and something else has taken over. Even if I was feeling ill before grabbing the microphone, I would be jumping about energetically and after the ministration, I would find that there would be no trace of pain or illness. I am always happiest when I’m praising God, and that is what I will continue to do.”
Speaking on what he wants to achieve with his music, Yemi Praize said, “Until the Gospel of Christ is heard in every corner of the world, then my assignment would remain incomplete. I have tasted God and I can confirm that He is very sweet. I don’t want to be selfish and that is why I want others to have a taste of Him too.”
