Stephen Mulhern has got himself into a bit of hot water with Pixie Lott.
The Britain's Got More Talent host was chatting with Pixie on the ITV2 spin-off show following last night's BGT live final (June 3).
'Mama Do' singer Pixie appeared on the show as a guest performer to promote her new music, alongside collaborator and British DJ Anton Powers, but instead, she was met with cringeworthy accusations of infidelity.
Let's just say, she didn't look particularly impressed.
The awkward encounter began when Stephen addressed Pixie and Anton following a musical interlude.
"How did you two actually meet again," he asked. "And who asked who out first?"
An embarrassed Pixie responded: "Erm, no we just work together, we're not actually a couple."
"Oh, I got you, Pixie, you just make music together," he replied with a knowing wink. "Sweet, sweet music."
Unfortunately, the embarrassing interrogation didn't end there. Oh no.
"Tell me something," Stephen added minutes later. "What is it like working together and being in a couple?"
Looking quite uncomfortable, Pixie replied: "No, we're not a couple we just work together."
Mulhern then asked: "Really? Because when I walked past your dressing room, all I heard were [sex noises]."
"No, I'm actually engaged and that was Anton sampling some songs," Pixie continued.
"Oh yeah, he was sampling new songs," quipped an undeterred Mulhern. "Of course, of course."
Despite Mulhern's jibes, Pixie's long-term relationship with boyfriend Oliver Cheshire is actually going rather swimmingly.
In November, the couple announced via Instagram the happy news that they were engaged.
