Ngige ‘ll End Crime, Poverty And Illiteracy – Aregbesola

Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has promised the people of Anambra State of improved and steady development in all ramifications, if the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Chris Ngige is voted into power in the coming governorship election in the state.

The governor made the statement on Wednesday during a rally in Nimo city of Njikoka Local Government Council Area of Anambra State in preparation towards the governorship election in the state.

He said for the state to witness steady and speedy development in the state through provision of necessary amenities such as good roads, improved health facilities and provision of standard education, the only party that has the ability to deliver is the APC.
Aregbesola explained that APC-governed states in the country are on the upward stride in terms of development, adding that Ngige is a formidable patriot, who will work tirelessly, with a view to moving the state forward.

He stated further that the governorship aspirant, who has been tested in the past, is the only one that has the experience that counts in terms of ruling the state and moving it forward to the desired status, while describing Ngige as one of the best politicians in the country.

While urging the electorate to vote wisely on election day, Aregbesola explained that the election is between the APC and three other parties, namely the PDP, Labour Party and APGA, saying that a vote for any of the three other parties is a vote to backwardness and a vote for the APC is a vote for progress and development.

He explained that just as it is in the State of Osun today, it is the APC that ensured that youths are kept out of the streets through the various youth-oriented programmes and such other development plans that ensured that youths are gainfully employed thereby boosting the economy of the state through the right usage of the energy that youths are endowed with.

He added that he has absolute trust and confidence in the candidate of APC saying he knew that he is a formidable and committed patriot who will do his best to improve the life of the people of Anambra state saying that he deserves the respect and support of all the people in the state.

While addressing the crowd, Dr. Ngige said his government will introduce free education, free healthcare and construct major roads across the state.
He debunked rumours by the APGA that APC is planning to rig election, saying; “my supporters would vote and APC would win.

He implored the people to use the 16th of November, which is the birthday of the late nationalist, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, to vote APC, as that would be a posthumous birthday gift to the Great Zik

The campaign train then moved to Onitsha, the ever-busy commercial nerve-center of Anambra State, where Ngige and Aregbesola were welcomed by a mammoth crowd of people, mostly traders of the popular Onitsha Market, who had to lock up their shops and troop out to cheer and wave at the duo of Ngige and Aregbesola.

The governorship candidate appreciated the people for their love and support and assured them of good governance if voted into power come Saturday.
