New Chelsea signing Nemanja Matic has declared himself fit and ready to make his second 'debut' for the club when they host Manchester United on Sunday. The Serbia international originally joined the Blues from MFK Kosice in 2009, but was then sold to Benfica in 2011 as part of a swap deal that saw David Luiz head to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has now brought the 25-year-old back to west London in a deal reportedly worth £21million, and the midfielder is eager to step straight into the action against the Red Devils this weekend. "The coach has to decide but I am ready. I'm in training, I played (for Benfica) on Sunday against Porto so I don't have any problems," Matic said.

Speaking of his move back to the Premier League, Matic said he believed Chelsea will soon be back to their deadly best in England, as well as Europe, adding: "Chelsea are a very good team and have very good young players. In the next few years Chelsea will show power.

"Of course we need a bit of time because if a player is young he needs time to show all his qualities but I think Chelsea will be one of the best teams in Europe."
